Kazoo is looking for a smart & imaginative QA Manager / Lead QA Tester, with mobile game development experience who thrives in an agile environment. Responsibilities

• Test functionality of games and apps built by Kazoo Games

• You will be part of the development team and provide test coverage of new features, development builds, app stability, bugs, and provide weekly test reports  

• Plan, develop and execute test coverage for mobile platforms

• Diagnose issues, report defects, and propose regression tests to discover reoccurrences

• Work with production teams and engineers to triage and prioritize issues for resolution

• Create, collaborate on and maintain all project-related internal QA test plans

• Creates accurate build verification reports and technical feature reports daily

• Develop effective technical test plans to verify proper function, data content, performance, usability/playability, and hardware/software compatibility

• Manages and Assists in forming and improving QA systems and procedures

• Reviews all issues entered by the test teams and ensures that bug reports all required information

• Regularly reviews issues and enhancement logs with Senior team

• Work with QA vendors and partners to provide a QA support and guidance

 

Qualifications

• Successfully shipped at least three titles on a mobile platform with demonstrated knowledge of each platform

• QA experience working on backend systems and services in game development

• Experience with Mobile F2P games as a live service

• Excellent attention to detail is a must! 

• Comfortable with deep-dive investigations and testing technical implementations

• Understands mobile phone hardware and has 5+ years of experience testing on a variety of mobile devices

• Experience in quality assurance/control testing

• Experience in advanced level testing techniques

• Expert with JIRA

• Experience coordinating external vendor teams

• ISTQB Foundation Level Certification or equivalent experience

• Passionate about video games

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Excellent organization and efficient time management skills are required

• Proven ability to work effectively with small to large teams in a deadline-driven environment

 

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Production, Game development or Computer Science is a plus!
